Nasreen Quibria is senior director and head of cross-border policy engagement at Visa. A recognized payments industry authority, she’s held senior positions, including at the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the global technology and consulting services firm CGI (formerly Logica), the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. She also founded the boutique payments research and consultancy Q Insights. Before, as senior advisor in innovation and technology to NACHA, the governance organization for the ACH Network, her work centered on advancing standardization efforts in U.S. financial services enabled by ISO 20022 and APIs. She holds several Advisory positions, including at The Digital Dollar Project, and is engaged in establishing a de novo financial institution, Aarbank, to reach the underserved community. Quibria holds a B.A. in economics from Wellesley College and an MBA in finance and strategy from Boston College.
