Laura Barrowcliff is the Head of GBG Trust at GBG, the global leader in identity and location. Laura leads GBG Trust, the global identity network, which combines over 100 million data attributes contributed by a consortium of over 550 businesses covering 24 sectors in over 80 countries, whilst ensuring complete data privacy. With insights from GBG Trust companies can securely leverage powerful cross sector consumer insights to detect fraud and onboard more good customers.

In this role, Laura is responsible for the ongoing innovation and development of GBG Trust, ensuring it’s aligned to customer needs and advises global brands on how cross sector intelligence can transform and strengthen their identity and fraud prevention strategy. She has worked in the identity fraud industry for over 13 years and prior to her current position, Laura was Head of Strategy and Customer Insight, responsible for the development and execution of GBG’s business strategy.

Alongside her role at GBG, Laura volunteers her time and expertise to Women in Identity, an international not-for-profit membership organisation that promotes diversity and inclusion across the identity industry. Having advised on the organisation on strategy for the last three years, Laura has recently been selected as US Board Secretary.
