My name is Bart Gijdé and I am the Global Head of Payment for International Workplace Group. I am responsible for the group’s global payment strategy, policy, product, partnerships, process, and set-up in more than 100 countries. I have 19 years of experience in FinTech, and, spent about half of this on the merchant side and half on the payment provider side, having worked previously for PayPal and Fiserv. At work, I enjoy using my strategic, commercial, and operational skills to develop solutions that improve corporate profitability and the customer experience. At home, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading classical literature, playing string instruments, supping, and cooking Korean food.
