Azy Shojaeian is a compliance and risk expert serving as VP Compliance & Risk & MLRO at Pockit, the UK fintech providing a digital account to over 900,000 people.
Azy started her career with roles at major banks such as Lloyds TSB, HSBC and Barclays, before leading compliance and risk functions at a range of regulated financial institutions.
Whilst operating in these roles, Azy also worked as a risk and compliance lecturer and consultant, and founded Integress, her own compliance advisory and training company.
Azy ensures Pockit’s operations are fully compliant with customer checks and regulations around money laundering, as well as anticipating and managing risk areas in the business.
